What is the Hooky?  It's whatever you want it to be!

The Hooky is an innovative, do it all and do it well aluminum frame for the person wanting flexibility when building up their own ride.  The Hooky can accommodate a 27.5 inch tire up to 3 inches wide or a 29 inch mountain bike tire up to 2.4 inches wide.  It is equipped with sliding rear dropouts so you can go with a traditional derailleur setup or quickly change it to a single speed.  By selecting the corresponding drop out inserts you can use a 135, 142, or 148 mm axle.

Wheel Size:
29 (max width 2.4) or 27.5 (max width 3.0)

A calculated blend of All-Mountain and Trail that provides a solid platform to handle a day of carving, launching or twisting your way through the trees or just about anywhere.

Fork Options:
Choose between the OptOut Rigid 29 or 27.5, but if some squish is more your thing, the Hooky is optimized for 120mm of travel.

Switch\Back Compatibility:
Yes!  All sizes of the OptOut Switch\Back Dropout System will give you all the wheel options possible.  Single Speed to 12, 135mm, 142mm or Boost, Switch\Back is ready.

Seatpost Size:
31.6 posts and a trick Dropper Post cable exit by the bottom bracket give you the ability to lower that seat and head through the downhill twists with ease.

Bottom Bracket:
73 mm English Threaded Bottom Bracket.  Mainly because we hated the maintenance and creaking of the BB30 just as much as you and the reliability can't be beat.

Derailleur Mount:
For those who like more gears, a standard 34.9mm braze-on adapter clamp will work great with the front derailleur of your choice.

Bottle Capacity:
Two bottles, both located on the down-tube, one on top and one on the underside.
